
๐ฃ๐ฅ๐๐ฆ๐ฆ ๐ฅ๐๐๐๐๐ฆ๐ | Manila, Philippines – On March 30, 2023, Foreign Service Institute (FSI) Director-General, Ma. Teresita C. Daza, had an introductory courtesy visit with Civil Service Commission (CSC) Chairperson, Karlo Nograles. The meeting aimed to strengthen the partnership between the two government agencies and discuss future collaborations.
Joining the meeting were FSI Board Secretary, Rowena Villanueva, Civil Service Institute – CSC (CSI) Director IV, Fernando Porio, CSI Acting Director III, Emilyn Severo, and Ms. Genelyn Gabriel from the Office of the Chairperson.
Chairperson Nograles, who is also a member of the FSI Board, commended the Institute’s contribution to the professional development of civil servants assigned abroad. He expressed his willingness to support the FSI’s programs and explore more opportunities for partnership.
Director-General Daza also expressed her appreciation for the CSC’s continued support for the FSI’s capacity-building programs. She discussed the FSI’s plans to improve its training programs to address the evolving needs of the Philippine foreign service.
The FSI Board is chaired by the Secretary of Foreign Affairs and includes the President of the University of the Philippines, the President of the Development Academy of the Philippines, and the FSI Director-General.
The meeting concluded with both parties committed to continuing the partnership and exploring more collaborative opportunities to enhance public service delivery in the Philippines.
