The Foreign Service Institute (FSI) concluded its Beginner, Pre-Intermediate, and Level 2 Language Courses in Arabic, Bahasa Indonesia, French, Nihongo, and Spanish under the Online Language Program.

FSI launched the Online Language Program in 2021 to provide language training to personnel of the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) in the Home Office, Consular Offices, and Foreign Service Posts. The budget for the implementation of this program was provided through the Congress-Introduced Changes/Amendments (CICA) FY 2021.

The Courses were synchronous, delivered in partnership with foreign language providers and language institutions using Google Meet and Zoom. A total of 132 participants attended the Online Language Program.
