AN INVITATION TO THE
ONLINE CONFERENCE: 45TH ANNIVERSARY OF PHILIPPINES-RUSSIA DIPLOMATIC RELATIONS

The MGIMO-University of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia and the Foreign Service Institute (FSI) of the Philippines will host an online conference on 25 May, 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. (Manila) / 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. (Moscow) commemorating the 45th Anniversary of Philippines-Russia Diplomatic Relations.

The conference’s agenda cover various issues from political and diplomatic relations and security cooperation to culture, trade, and economics. The conference aims to summarize the key achievements of the long-standing relationship between the Philippines and Russia, and to discuss avenues for further cooperation in bilateral and region-wide frameworks, like ASEAN-centered institutions. High-level officials, diplomats, and experts from the respective governments, departments or ministries, diplomatic missions, and prominent organizations who are directly involved in promoting Philippines-Russia relations are expected to join the discussions.
