The Foreign Service Institute Officer-in-Charge, Ms. Celeste Vinzon-Balatbat met with Deputy Foreign Minister of the State of Palestine H.E. Dr. Mazen Shamiyah on 7 February 2019 to discuss cooperation in the areas of diplomatic training and research.  This is in line with the objective of enhancing technical cooperation between the DFA and the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

FSI-OIC Vinzon-Balatbat and Deputy Foreign Minister Mazen welcomed the potential for cooperation between FSI and the Palestinian MFA, especially in exchanging views and experiences in training and research from a cross-regional perspective.

Dr. Mazen was joined by Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Malaysia H.E. Walid Abu Ali and Third Secretary and Assistant of the Deputy Foreign Minister Ms. Yuad Jaradat Hamdallah.
