The Foreign Service Institute (FSI) conducted the French Cultural Appreciation Program for the French II Language Course offered at DFA-OCA ASEANA on 09 November 2018. A Cheese and Wine Class was conducted at the Spiral Restaurant, Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila, headed by their resident wine connoisseur Mr. Tanguy Gras. The participants were given a brief lesson on French Cheeses and Wine, and its relevance to the French culture. The tasting portion allowed participants to experience firsthand how the French enjoy their cheese – through pairings of wine, bread, nuts, dried fruit, honey and jam.
