The Foreign Service Institute (FSI) welcomed 22 junior Foreign Service Officers of the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) during the opening ceremony of the six-month Foreign Service Officers’ Cadetship Course (FSOCC) Batch 24 at FSI Training Room 558-559 on May 29.

The cadets will undergo 17 modules designed to equip the new batch of junior officers on the core competencies that are vital in their career as diplomats.  The program includes key modules such as Diplomacy, National Security, Foreign Policy, and Assistance-to-Nationals, among others.

FSI Director-General Claro S. Cristobal urged the cadets to continue learning and to pursue a sense of relevance throughout their career as members of the Philippine Foreign Service.
