The cadets of Foreign Service Officer’s Cadetship Course Batch XXIII visited the Information Technology and Business Process Association of the Philippines (IBPAP). Ms. Genny Inocencio-Marcial, Executive Director of External Affairs of IBPAP, briefed the participants on the functions of the organization and the current state of the industry in the Philippines.

Ms. Inocencio-Marcial discussed the various ways the organization interacted with the government as well as their involvement in increasing the Philippines’ visibility as a vibrant investment opportunity.

The study visit to IBPAP was part of the Economic Diplomacy module of FSOCC Batch XXIII which aims to equip the cadets with knowledge and practical experience in the various economic activities and opportunities in the Philippines
