The Foreign Service Institute and PeopleStrong Human Resource Consulting conducted the Module on Esprit de Corps for the Foreign Service Officers’ Cadetship Course (FSOCC) Batch 23 on 21–23 September 2016 at the First Pacific Leadership Academy, Antipolo City.

The three-day module engaged the seventeen (17) cadets into various Structured Learning Exercises (SLEs) such as forming, storming, norming and performing. The lecture-discussions and activities were led by Ms. Anna Patricia O. Silerio, Managing Consultant, and Mr. Jan Carlo Silan, Facilitator, of PeopleStrong Human Resource Consulting.

The cadets were also inspired by the sharing of valuable experiences of Mr. Patrick John U. Hilado, incoming Director of the Office of Assets Management and Support Services. Mr. Hilado gave an inspiring talk on the Junior Officer as an Effective Member, Follower and Team Leader; the value of self-awareness and understanding personal styles; and the importance of team communication in various DFA workgroups.
