LKY School of Public Policy – NUS was established in 2004 and is a centre of excellence for academic study and research in the areas of public policy in Asia.

Mr. Louis Low, Coordinating Head of Region Admissions External Affairs and Marketing and Ms. Tiffany Wan, Senior Executive, External Affairs and Marketing, discussed LKY’s new and regular programmes offered to international students:

  • Master in International Affairs (MIA), a two-year full time programme furthers the school’s mission of educating current and future generation of leaders to improve the level of governance in Asia. It brings Asia’s role as a key influencer in world affairs to the forefront.
  • Master in Public Policy (MPP) – a two-year full-time programme provides rigorous training for a strong foundation in policy analysis, programme evaluation and management. It is designed for young professionals with up to five years work experience, to meet the demand for skilled policy makers and analysts in the public, private or not-for-profit sectors.
  • Master in Public Administration (MPA) – a one-year full-time programme prepares students for senior management roles in the public sector. It provides an intensive, interdisciplinary course of study for professionals who wish to work on increasingly complex issues shaping national, regional and global policies and projects.
  • Master in Public Management – a one-year full-time programme features predominantly Asian case studies to create and dramatise challenges confronting senior level public officials in today’s workplace. This course trains students to meet the challenges of effective leadership and good governance.

Applications for the Master Programmes are open from 1 August to 31 December 2016.  LKY School of Public Policy-NUS strongly encouraged applicants to submit applications online.
