The Carlos P. Romulo School of Diplomacy (CPRSD) of the Foreign Service Institute conducted the Basic Records and Communication Officers’ Course on 10-17 August 2015, which enhanced the foreign service personnel’s knowledge and skills on records management and communication processes.

Participants from the Department gained a deeper understanding of the roles and functions of a Records and Communication Officer through discussions and workshops on records management, diplomatic pouch, communications, information technology, and oral and written communications. A tour was also done at the Central Records Division of the Department for a better understanding of the job.
