The Regional Consular Office in Dumaguete City warmly welcomed officials and staff from the Foreign Service Institute (FSI) and the Office of Personnel and Administrative Services (OPAS) for the Gender Sensitivity Training (Level I) on 27 September 2015.

The training team, led by Assistant Secretary Noel M. Servigon, was composed of Atty. Christiansen B. Cabahug of the Personnel Management Division; Ms. Marichu C. Liwanag, Head of the Carlos P. Romulo School of Diplomacy; and Ms. Eivette Carmen P. Lagman and Ms. Jill Angeli V. Bacasmas, FSI training specialists.

The GST (Level I) offers an introduction to basic gender concepts and gender-fair language. It also covers salient features of the Magna Carta of Women and the Anti-Sexual Harassment Law as applicable to the Department’s rules and policies.
