Ambassador Ali Asghar Mohammadi, Iranian Ambassador to the Philippines, paid a visit to Acting Director-General Julio S. Amador III on 1 June 2015 to discuss the strengthening of cooperation and establishment of a linkage program between the Institute and its Iranian counterpart, the Institute for Political and International Studies of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

During the meeting held at the Institute, Mr. Amador congratulated Ambassador Mohammadi for the Iranian Embassy’s initiatives in expanding cultural exchanges between the Philippines and Iran. He also presented a token to Ambassador Mohammadi in recognition of his efforts in improving the ties between the Philippines and Iran.
