Ms. Liezhel Joy Jamilano, Training Specialist from the Carlos P. Romulo School of Diplomacy (CPRSD), and Ms. Krista Kyla D. Seachon, Foreign Affairs Research Specialist from the Center for International Relations and Strategic Studies (CIRSS), participated in the ASEAN-ROK Next-Generation Opinion Leaders Program in Seoul and Busan, South Korea, on 11-15 May 2015.

The program, which brought together 20 participants from ASEAN Member States, included visits to the National Assembly, ASEAN-Korea Centre, Asian Institute for Policy Studies, Seoul National University Asia Center, and Ewha Womans University. There were also tours around cultural and industrial areas such as the Changdeokgung Palace, Nurimaru APEC House, Haedong Yonggungsa Temple, SK, Samsung D’light, and the Hyundai Motors Studio.

The program was organized by the Korea Foundation and sought to engender a better understanding of Korea among the international community and to nurture goodwill between Korea and the rest of the world through its exchange programs.
