The second Pre-Departure Orientation Seminar (PDOS) for 2015 was composed of 31 participants from the Department of Foreign Affairs (24), Department of Tourism (2), Philippine Coast Guard (1), Philippine National Police (1), and National Intelligence Coordinating Agency (3). It was held at the Carlos P. Romulo School of Diplomacy of the Foreign Service Institute on 6-30 April 2015.

The 92-hour seminar intends to prepare participants for their first foreign assignments. An overview of the One Country Team Approach, work operations at Post, regional briefings, diplomatic protocol, cultural diplomacy, economic diplomacy, assistance-to-nationals, consular, and sharing of experiences were incorporated in the program.

The program culminated in the simulation of the 117th Anniversary of the Proclamation of Philippine Independence in the Philippine Embassy in Mexico with the theme “Pagkakaisa sa Diwa ng Kalayaan.”
