The Foreign Service Institute held a four-day Advanced Training for APEC 2015 Liaison Officers and Conference Management Officers for the Local Government of Albay at The Oriental Hotel, Legazpi City, Albay, on 4-7 November 2014.

Mr. Revimarc L. De Mesa discussed protocol and VVIP courtesies, Ms. Joanna A. Abrera on effective communication and customer service, and Ms. Karen A. Ostrea on image enhancement.

Meanwhile, Ambassador Ma. Angelina M. Sta. Catalina, Deputy Director-General for Conference Management Services of the APEC 2015 National Organizing Committee, gave a briefing on possible scenarios during the APEC meetings in Legazpi City, which will serve as host  of the Informal Senior Officials Meeting on 8 December 2014.
