Civil servants not only fulfill their respective mandates but also try to be good representatives of the country.

On 1- 2 October 2014, 24 employees from the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) took on a two-day seminar on protocol and social graces organized by the Carlos P. Romulo School of Diplomacy of the Foreign Service Institute at the DOST Building, Gen. Santos Avenue Bicutan, Taguig City.

Ambassador Fortunato D. Oblena discussed diplomatic protocol on the first day, while Ms. Sheila Velarde engaged the group in an interactive session on social graces on the second day.
