The Foreign Service Institute held inaugural ceremonies for the Carlos P. Romulo Murals, its renovated classrooms in the 5th Floor, and the newly constructed Ambassador Francisco L. Benedicto Room in the Carlos P. Romulo Library on.
The Institute is the recipient of the generous support of Ambassador Benedicto. His contribution resulted in the upgrade of the Institute’s training rooms in the 5th Floor and the construction of the multi-function smart room at the Carlos P. Romulo Library. The Institute now enjoys a modern and comfortable learning and research environment with the ability to hold e-learning classes and webcasts of its various events and fora.
A Board Resolution acknowledging this generous contribution was presented to Ambassador Benedicto to express the Institute’s profound gratitude.
Foreign Affairs Secretary Albert F. del Rosario headed the ribbon cutting ceremony in the presence of Madame Beth Day Romulo and Ambassador Francisco L. Benedicto. In attendance also during the inaugural ceremony were FSI Board member from the Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP) Pres. Antonio T. Kalaw, DAP Vice Pres. for Corporate Affairs Mr. Trygve A. Bolante, and Civil Service Institute Executive Director Arthur Luis P. Florentin.
