Batch Salinlahi interacts with Ambassador Jaime Victor B. Ledda through webconference

The FSO cadets of Batch XXI known as Salinlahi had the privilege of having Ambassador Jaime Victor B. Ledda of the PE-Netherlands as resource person during the 14th Diplomat’s Hour series held on 21 November 2014 at the Foreign Service Institute.

Ambassador Ledda talked about the economic and cultural ties between the Netherlands and the Philippines since the official establishment of their diplomatic relations.  In particular, he said that the Netherlands was the Philippines’ 3rd largest source of ODA in 2013, and has been generous in providing scholarships grants through fellowships and trainings.

The FSO cadets had a fruitful exchange of ideas with Ambassador Ledda who graciously responded to a number of questions.

The Diplomat’s Hour is a dialogue between the newly commissioned FSOs and Head of Posts that allows real-time interaction with former and incumbent senior FSOs through webcast.
