A three-day Seminar-Workshop on Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and Training Evaluation (TE) was recently concluded in the Foreign Service Institute (FSI) Carlos P. Romulo School of Diplomacy (CPRSD). It was participated by ten (10) training specialists of the institute, mostly newly-hired.The program was geared towards the enhancement of the participating training specialists’ skills in conducting training needs analysis (TNA) and evaluation training programs for improved FSI training programs.
The participants underwent several lecture-discussions and intensive workshops to be able to come up with different tools and outputs which will help them in the performance of their roles. It was supervised by Ms. Faith R. Castro-Brazil, an experienced consultant on human resource management and development.
The three-day run was conducted from September 22 to 24, 2014. It was formally closed by the Assistant Director of the institute, Mr. Julio Amador.
The training is an effort of the institute for a continuous improvementin fulfilling its role in fostering an effective Philippine Foreign Service.
