The Carlos P. Romulo School of Diplomacy (CPRSD) of the Foreign Service Institute (FSI) ran the Skills Enhancement Workshop for the APEC 2015 Host Economy Liaison Officers for the Provincial Government of Bataan at the Bataan Tourism Center in Balanga City on 18-19 September 2014.

Despite the inclement weather, the participants who were thoroughly selected actively took part in various duty exercises given by Mr. Revimarc L. De Mesa, Resource Person on Protocol and VVIP Courtesies

The workshop aimed at helping them understand and appreciate the vital duties and functions of host economy liaison officers for the upcoming APEC 2015 meeting in Bataan.

The workshop utilized duty exercises in self-presentation, greeting and relaying information properly to the APEC 2015 delegation. A cocktail ceremony was also held which served as the culmination of the workshop.
